I did this illustration a while back when I was learning perspective rules. Then about two years ago I vectored it up and it just sort of sat somewhere in my computer doing nothing. I always kind of liked how it came out and I want to do more stuff like this.
Thanks slippy, and to answer your other question about the robot gorilla: The Piece functions as a desktop wallpaper and can be downloaded on the Atomicmoo site in whatever format best fits your monitor. It was originally based on a small doodle Chudd did several years ago. I came across the sketch sometime last year and decided to work it up as a vector/digital illustration. After the gorilla was finished we decided to add some cool type to the background and other elements to make something goofy and weird. However, I liked the end result so much it is now the wallpaper on my laptop at home. As for "why" the cow? Read the about page on Atomicmoo.com. Talk to you later buddy!
Okay, this is sad, but it took me this damn long to get the joke, and I am actually a huge Hellraiser fan. Fucking Zoloft's killing my sense of humor. Thanks for the comments man.
thank you very much and I'm trying. However, all though I love a good Slave Leia I also really want to do an admiral ackbar and some other characters from star wars.
Can't wait to see them! I posted your Rubik's cube today and it is currently on tumblr's Radar! People are really digging it...a few want a shirt! [link]
Tumblr is the name of a blog forum. Many artists have tumblr blogs featuring their artwork, it's very cool. When an image is chosen to be on tumblr's radar (main page)...it is exposed to millions of people. It's free, maybe think about setting up an account to feature your work if you are interested. It's a GREAT way to get your work out there. You have a great style.
and this brings back memories
I'll also be broadcasting to my "Followers" that they should go bounce off of AtomicMoo, whenever they next get the chance!
